My house is in the Pulborough conservation area. Does that matter?
It can. Like-for-like repairs are usually straightforward, but changing materials, or work on a listed building, may need consent from the district council. We will flag it before we price.
Is Pulborough in the South Downs National Park?
The village sits on the northern edge of the National Park. Some nearby villages, such as Fittleworth, are inside it, where the National Park Authority is the planning authority.
Can you match old clay tiles or stone slabs?
Usually, with reclaimed or carefully matched new materials. We show you before we fit them.
Do you repair flat roofs or only replace them?
Both. If a flat roof can be repaired sensibly we will say so; if it is failing across the board we recommend an EPDM re-cover.
Do you do guttering and fascias?
Yes, including gutter clearing, repairs, replacement gutters and downpipes, and fascias and soffits.
Can you help with an insurance claim?
We can provide photos and a written report of the damage. Whether it is covered depends on your policy.
